GFS to Open in Deer Creek: Restaurant Quality Items with no Membership Needed

Shoppers can enter for a chance to win a $300 shopping spree.

GFS, a foodservice store offering restaurant quality items with no membership required, will open in the Deer Creek Center in September, according to a press release from the company. The location is on the west end of the center, next to McAlister’s.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Sept. 24 at 10 a.m., kicking off a week of grand opening events.

There will be food tastings each day of the first week and shoppers can enter for a chance to win a $300 shopping spree. Shoppers will have an opportunity to sample some of GFS Marketplace’s most popular items at their Giant Taste Fest, which will be held on Friday and Saturday of that week.

The store is the 161st to open company-wide and the first in Missouri.

The new GFS Marketplace location employs approximately 35 people including store manager Brad Moore.

GFS Marketplace will be open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
