Going Out For Thanksgiving? Here Are Your Options In St. Louis

Here are some options around St. Louis if you don't feel like cleaning up after the whole family on Thanksgiving.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Thanksgiving is just a week away, and visions of cranberry sauce are already dancing through your head. But Thanksgiving dinner, with all the trappings — turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie — is time consuming and labor intensive.

Maybe you're alone for the holidays or just don't want to have to clean a family's worth of dirty dishes. Whatever the reason, there's no shame in going out for Thanksgiving dinner. If you can find a place that's open, that is.

Luckily, Offers.com rounded up a list of restaurants that will be open on Turkey Day. Before heading out, you may want to make a reservation or check the hours, since some locations may close early for the holiday.

Here are some restaurants with locations in or near St. Louis that will be open on Thanksgiving day:

Applebee's: Many Applebee’s locations will be open on Thanksgiving, and with the restaurant's famous combo deals, you could even save some money. Many locations will be closing early, so check hours in advance.

Bob Evans: Open for dine-in customers on Thanksgiving until 8 p.m. If you'd prefer to eat at home, you can also order several varieties of Bob Evans' Farmhouse Feast for four to 10 people starting at $54.99. Delivery available. Holiday meals to go for four (with options including meat loaf, turkey and dressing, pot roast and more) start at $19.99. Sides and pies also available.

Boston Market: Most locations are open for dine in, but check hours. Boston Market will be serving a plated traditional meal on Thanksgiving Day. Find Thanksgiving menu options online.
Boston Market also offers catering and carry-out meal options, including home delivery.

Buca di Beppo: Dine in on Thanksgiving or pre-order a "Thanksgiving to go" for three to five people (available Nov. 21 and 22). You can also order a catered Thanksgiving dinner for 10 to 20 people (available Nov. 12 to 22). Thanksgiving day pickup starts at 10 a.m.

Capital Grille: Get a Thanksgiving dinner ($42 for adults, $15 for children) including slow-roasted turkey with brioche stuffing, french green beans with marcona almonds and mashed potatoes. Desserts available for $11, and there's also a kids menu.

Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta Hotel: Thanksgiving brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Starlight Ballroom. $72 for adults, $24 for children 6-12 (plus tax/gratuity). Children ages 5 and under are free. Feast on roasted butternut squash soup, slow roasted turkey, sweet potato mash with roasted pecans and brown sugar, assorted desserts and so much more. Complimentary valet parking is included. Reservations are required by calling 314.633.3060.

Cracker Barrel: Cracker Barrel offers dine-in and to-go options for its Homestyle Turkey n’ Dressing Meal all day on Thanksgiving, as well as a Heat n’ Serve holiday family meals. Available for pickup Nov. 17 to 25. Cracker Barrel says the meals are delivered from their oven to your table in less than two hours, but recommends ordering at least 24 hours in advance.

Denny’s: Many locations will be open regular hours. Denny's offers plenty of Thanksgiving- and holiday-themed menu items, including a turkey and dressing dinner. Online ordering is also available for to-go Thanksgiving meals that feed four to five people, including carved turkey breast, stuffing, gravy and two sides.

Eclipse Restaurant at the Moonrise Hotel: Brunch seating from noon to 3 p.m. and dinner seating from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cost is $55 per person or $65 per person with bottomless mimosas, or $75 with bottomless bloody marys. Fogo de Chao: The restaurant offers a Thanksgiving meal in the form of a full Churrasco experience, including roasted turkey breast, homemade cranberry relish, sweet potato casserole and Brazilian sausage and apple dressing. Reservations are available between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Thanksgiving. Make your reservation here.

Golden Corral: Golden Corral will offer its annual Thanksgiving buffet. If you want to capture the essence of Thanksgiving by eating so much you feel sick, there's no better option. Pricing and hours differ, so call ahead.

Hooters: Most Hooters are open on Thanksgiving, so you can enjoy a meal while watching football at the themed restaurant. Call ahead to make sure your location is open.

Maggiano's Little Italy: Maggiano's will serve a four-course family style meal with an italian twist for $39.95 per person and $17.95 for children under 12. Includes classic tomato or artichoke and roasted pepper bruschetta, choice of salad, and roast turkey with focaccia sausage stuffing and cranberry relish, baked ham with mashed sweet potatoes, or parmesan crusted tilapia.

McDonald’s: Most McDonald’s locations will be open, but check the hours before heading out.

Peacock Diner: This classic diner in the Delmar Loop will be open 24-hours serving their everyday menu.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Enjoy a three-course meal for $39.95, including soup or salad, hand-carved turkey with stuffing, choice of side and a dessert. Select locations open at noon, so check before you head out.

Starbucks: Most Starbucks locations will remain open on Thanksgiving (although hours may vary) so you can grab a holiday beverage.

TGI Fridays: Most locations will be open Thanksgiving Day, but hours will vary. Fridays offers holiday feasts for two starting at $20.

Waffle House: Waffle House never closes. If Waffle House is closed, you have bigger things to worry about.
