With two minutes left, senior Kahlid Hagens got free with a pass from senior Aaron Spudich and pushed MRH’s lead to 12 points with an emphatic dunk. That was the first big moment.
The next MRH possession had the look of a replay, but Hagens and ball flew out of control as he was ambushed by Carnahan seniors Trevor Roberts and Raymond Holmes. Pushing and words ensued, which resulted in a technical called against Carnahan, and Hagens shooting from the free throw line.
