Maplewood, Brentwood Folks Speak on Supreme Court DOMA Ruling
Most of those interviewed in the area supported the Supreme Court Decision.
Following the Supreme Court decision to give equal federal rights to same sex couples as heterosexual couples, folks in Maplewood and Brentwood were generally supportive of the decision.
Not every person interviewed was in favor of the decision. One person in Maplewood said he was against it because he said he can’t be an honest Christian and be for same-sex marriage. Unfortunately the interview wasn’t recorded.
Recent events have shown support for the LGBT community.
