Maplewood Police: 3 DWIs, 4 Drug Charges, 5 Shoplifting Charges Last Week
Also, woman is charged with passing more than $500 in bad checks to a business in the 7300 block of Manchester Road.

The following information was supplied by the Maplewood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Jan. 7
- A 26-year-old man was arrested on charges of DWI and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 7200 block of Manchester Road.
- A 25-year-old man was arrested on drug and paraphernalia charges in the 7300 block of Manchester Road. He had been stopped for a traffic violation, and it was discovered that he had a suspended driver’s license and several outstanding warrants through other jurisdictions.Â

- An officer on patrol observed a 22-year-old man in the 7900 block of Manchester Road smoking marijuana. When the officer made contact with the man he gave the officer a false name. He was arrested on the charges of possession of marijuana and false declaration.
- A 54-year-old man was arrested on the charge of 3rd degree domestic assault in the 2600 block of Circle Drive. Â
Wednesday, Jan. 9
- A 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a business in the 7300 block of Manchester.

- Two vehicles parked in the 7400 block of Manchester Road were broken into and an iPhone and a GPS charger stolen. The phone was later tracked to the north St. Louis and County area. Police were sent to the GPS location of the stolen phone, however, the suspect(s) were gone when they arrived.
Friday, Jan. 11
- A 41-year-old woman was arrested on drug charges stemming from a traffic stop conducted in the area of Bredell Avenue and Manchester Road.
- A 58-year-old man was arrested on suspision of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- Two 21-year-old women were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. A records check also showd he had multiple outstanding warrants through other jurisdictions.
- A 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of passing more than $500 in bad checks to a business located in the 7300 block of Manchester Road. Â
Saturday, Jan. 12
- A 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The case is being referred to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to consider felony charges, since she has numerous prior theft convictions.
- Officers received a call of a suspicious subject running through backyards in the 2500 block of Gerhardt Avenue. It was later discovered that the suspicious subject had failed to pay for a $40 cab fare. The runner has not been identified. Â
Sunday, Jan. 13
- A 41-year-old driver was arrested on the charge of DWI in the area of South Big Bend Boulevard and Lohmeyer Avenue.
- A 27-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 7900 block of Manchester Road.
- A 31-year-old woman was arrested on the charges of DWI and leaving the scene of an accident in the area of Manchester Road and South Big Bend Boulevard. Â
