Big Bend McDonald's Robbed at Gunpoint
A masked man walked up to the drive-thru window Thursday evening, showed a weapon and demanded money. No one was hurt in the incident. The McDonald's is just over the Webster Groves border from Maplewood.

Webster Groves police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the drive-thru of the at 3635 Big Bend Rd. on Thursday, May 3.
A man wearing a black mask, a black sweatshirt and black jeans walked up to the drive-thru window of the restaurant around 7 p.m., according to the latest police blotter. He displayed a weapon and demanded money. Â
The employee gave the suspect money from the register, and the suspect was last seen running north toward Hanley Road.

Capt. Stephen Spear, of the Webster Groves Police Department, said the weapon was described as a black handgun. He added that about $500 had been stolen.
