WATCH: Metro Lighting Attracts Crowds to Brentwood
Project manager Nick Frisella said LEDs are getting cheaper and brighter.
Metro Lighting, on Tuesday, hosted its second Show Me LED, an educational event in the business's showroom.
"LED lighitng is the future of lighting, so we want customers to be educated about it," Nick Frisella, a Metro Lighting project manager said.
He said when compact fluorescent bulbs came out people judged them from the first generation, and there were a lot of frustrations with CFL.

"It's my goal to further energy conservation through reducing your watage while increasing your lumens, so basically using less energy to get more light," he said.
Frisella said new LED bulbs' output increases by about 20 percent every 12 months, "so as we move forward it's only going to get better."
