Morning Exchange: Valentine's Day, or Just Another Monday?

Happy Valentine's Day! I'm sure you've already planned the perfect night, but just in case you haven't, we're here to help:

And while today is a great day for dreamy-eyed couples to cherish, it's still a busy Monday for journalists. I surprised my lovely girlfriend with tickets to True/False Film Festival last night so she doesn't get upset when I work today (think it will work?) — So here's where we'll be:

• Officials at will present a curriculum change to parents at 8:15 a.m. I'll have a story up later today.
• I also hope to post the weekly crime report today or tomorrow.
• is putting together a list of resources to help expand your wine knowledge. That'll be in her column tomorrow. 
• is compiling a list of community nonprofits for this week's Patch Picks (set to post on Thursday). We're looking for recommendations.
