New Maplewood Fire Station Nears Completion

MAPLEWOOD -- The long-awaited new headquarters for the Maplewood Fire Department is finally coming to fruition.

The building at 7601 Manchester Road has been under construction since May 2016; though, it has been in the works for several years. The new space comprises 20,000 square feet and will be LEED Silver certified — the first and only of its kind in the St. Louis area, officials have said.
