Norma J. Strong, Salvation Army Soldier for 30 Years, Dies

Norma Jean Strong ("Miss Norma" to some) was a soldier in the Salvation Army for 30 years.

She was affiliated with the Maplewood Savation Army, at 7701 Rannells Avenue, but much of her work was at the St. Louis Headquarters on Hampton Avenue.

Visitation is 10 a.m. Friday at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 7456 Manchester. Service is at 11:30 a.m. Major Woods from the Maplewood Salvation Army will officiate.
