Share Your Thoughts on QuikTrip Controversy & Write a 'Letter to Maplewood'

As Maplewood residents gather in coffee shops, homes, email listservs and in the comments sections of Patch articles, they're discussing the new QuikTrip convenience market proposed for the corner of Manchester Road and Big Bend Boulevard.

Maplewood voters will decide the store's fate on April 2. Until then, we invite you to share your own thoughts about this pervasive issue with your neighbors here on Maplewood-Brentwood Patch. Ask questions. Offer counterarguments. Act with respect (of course), but we hope you'll take advantage of our community to create a dialogue.

Andy Barnes has started a forum on Facebook for the citizens of Maplewood to express their desires for the types of businesses they would like to join the community.

Nick from Maplewood calls it a myth that the opposition to the QuikTrip relocation is just a small group of residents trying to throw a wrench into the City of Maplewood’s plan for development.

Second Floor Thoughts

Jeff Wiggs imagines the view out his second floor window if QuikTrip moves to the northwest corner of Manchester and Big Bend, and he doesn't like it.
