Tigerlily Gifts & Monograms Announces Closing
The gift shop survived for seven years in Maplewood in two different locations.
Tigerlily Gifts & Monograms, at 7328 Manchester Road, announced on Thursday the store is closing on June 30.
"After completing seven years of retail 'fun' beginning on Sutton Boulevard and the last three years on Manchester, the 'Tigerlily Ladies' will be taking a small business break," co-owner Helen Stewart said in an e-mail to Patch.
Stewart's daughter, Hillary Stewart, said lease complications were part of the reason the shop is closing.

Stewart's e-mail said they will spend the time making their online presences stronger and more manageable, as well as developing and exploring other fun gifts.
She said re-opening in Maplewood is a strong possibility.

All merchandise is currently marked down 20 percent. The store is open Monday to Friday 10 a.m-5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. until June 30.
