Westbound I-44 Entrance Ramp Closure at Elm Moved to Early August
MoDOT officials say more a few areas near the ramp need more engineering work in order to prepare for the closure near Maplewood.
The westbound Interstate 44 entrance ramp closure at Elm Avenue in  has been postponed until early August.
It was originally scheduled to close after 9 a.m. on Monday, July 23. Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) officials say more engineering work needs to be done to prepare for the ramp closure.
MoDOT is set to replace a retaining wall near the ramp that has deteriorated. The closure is expected to last about six weeks, weather permitting.
