Why Has Ray's Donuts Been Closed The Last Few Days?

Devoted fans of Ray's Donuts in Brentwood and Creve Coeur have been met with a sign saying the shops are closed until further notice due to a water main break at the bakery's production facilities in Breckenridge Hills, in north St. Louis County.

Operations Director Bill Risburg told Patch the business had to close down Friday, Saturday and Sunday, what he called the donut shop's "bread and butter days" in terms of sales, because of the problem.

He said the hope was that it would be fixed by Monday in time for business to be open Tuesday. Patch will update this story Monday with new information if it becomes available.
