Graduation Ceremonies Move Location Following Friday's Storm
Because the St. Charles Family Arena sustained damage during Friday's storm, the Mehlville and Oakville graduation ceremonies have been moved to a new location for Sunday.
A new location has been selected for the Mehlville and Oakville graduation ceremonies following Friday night's storm, which damaged the St. Charles Family Arena.
The Sunday ceremonies have been moved to Oakville High School's football stadium, said John Wolff, communications director for the district. Ceremony times will remain the same: 2 p.m. for Oakville and 6 p.m. for Mehlville.
Students may not park at the high school. Instead, shuttle buses will transport students from two locations.
For Oakville students, buses will leave at noon from Oakville Middle School. For Mehlville students, buses will leave at 3 p.m. from Mehlville High School.
The buses will return students to each school following graduation.
Because of space limitations, the district asks students to limit their number of guests to five people.
