Mehlville Boys Varsity Volleyball Team Begins District Play Saturday
The team, ranked No. 1 in the state, is hoping the tournament will advance it to the quarterfinals.
The Mehlville Boys Varsity Volleyball team is gearing up for a win in Saturday's district tournament.
The team is currently ranked No. 1 in the state with a 27-1 record, said Coach James Fischer. It is the first time in 12 years the team has won the Suburban West Conference title.
"They've played really well this year," he said. "I'm proud of them."

The tournament, hosted by Mehlville High School, begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, Fischer said. The top two teams in district play will move on to the quarterfinals.
