Oakville Resident Earns Master’s Degree from WGU Missouri

Riley Davidson, a resident of Oakville in South St. Louis County, recently graduated from WGU Missouri with a Master of Business Administration. Davidson participated in the nonprofit, fully online university’s commencement ceremony in November, where she and hundreds of other graduates were recognized and celebrated for their achievements.

Davidson graduated with her bachelor’s degree in May of 2020 and landed a permanent position at her current job soon after. She initially thought she was done with schooling, but after seeing the many options WGU Missouri had to offer, she decided to go back to school and began pursuing her master’s degree in July. Even though she faced many challenges – including issues with her health – she was able to graduate with her MBA this fall.

“Even though this year has been hard, it has also been rewarding,” Davidson said. “I received a promotion and focused not only on my degree, but on myself and my relationships with my family and friends. They are safe and healthy, and that is all I could ask for.”
