Police Rescue Woman Considering Jumping Off JB Bridge
The following information was supplied by the St. Louis County Police Department's South County Precinct for the period ending March 21. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Saturday, March 16
Purses, credit cards, checkbooks and cell phones were reported stolen in the 4400 block of Lemay Ferry Rd.
Sunday, March 17

- A woman and another person got into an argument and began hitting each other in the 2800 block of Innsbruck. The woman escaped from the apartment through her bedroom window. She reported injuries to police and was released to her mother at St. Anthony’s Medical Center. The other person was arrested and booked for third-degree assault.
- An X-Box, four games, an iPad, a camera and a class ring were reported stolen in a burglary in the 5200 block of Sir Bors. The front door had been pried open.
Tuesday, March 19
- Officers responded to a call about a woman on the JB Bridge on eastbound Interstate 255. Upon arrival the woman was observed clinging to a vertical support beam on the side of the bridge. She stated that she did not want to continue living. She was visibly shaking and upset. She was eventually talked down off of the ledge and transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center.
- A 1987 Chevy Caprice was reported stolen from the 5800 block of Telegraph Rd.
Wednesday, March 20

- Credit cards, electronics and clothing were reported stolen from the 200 block of Kingston.
- A woman reported fraudulent activity on her debit card from an ATM in the 4400 block of Lemay Ferry Rd. She was still in possession of the card. It is unknown if the ATM had been tampered with.
- Two dogs were taken by Animal Control from the 2200 block of Pecan after they attacked several other dogs on Melon and Pecan.
Thursday, March 21
- A 1993 Ford Tempo was reported stolen from the parking lot between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the 1900 block of Lemay Ferry Rd.
- Electronics and cash were reported stolen in a burglary in the 1300 block of Telegraph Rd.
