VOTE FOR LINDA BOWEN (#1 on the ballot)
on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in the Republican Primary

By working together, we can help Lemay Township become a better place to live, work & educate our children. Please review the below background information that illustrates my qualifications to serve as your Lemay Township Republican Committee Woman.

I graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis County, Missouri with a degree in Management of Information Systems and a minor in Business Management. I worked for Union Pacific Corporation for 25 years. 22 years for Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad in the Finance Department of which 7 years was in the union and 15 years in management which included Manager of Revenue Systems. This position eventually provided the opportunity to begin working for Union Pacific Technologies as an Information Technology Business Consultant. After spending 3 years at Union Pacific Technologies, Union Pacific Corporation decided to move all subsidiaries in St. Louis to Omaha, Consequently, I decided to take the severance package and remain in St. Louis. Therefore, in January 2004, I began my own successful information technology business consulting firm and my first client was Union Pacific Railroad.

However, in December 2012, my husband and I decided to retire. We have two children with seven grandchildren and wanted to spend more time with them. Three of the seven attend Mehlville School District, and the other four are preschoolers. However, I have never been one to remain idle for long. Therefore, I became more involved as a volunteer in the community and in politics. By volunteering, I found my passion. I've found that the value of volunteering is much deeper; much more fulfilling and much more important in contributing to a healthy and vibrant community.

I am currently an active member in Lemay Chamber of Commerce, Lemay Neighborhood Association, Mehlville Lions Club & Board, Kiwanis Club & Board, in addition to other projects working with numerous charitable organizations and community outreach programs within the Lemay Township area. I have worked on various levels of political campaigns, served as 2015 President of Concord-Lemay Republican Club & increased the club membership by 77%,using proven leadership, organizational excellence, management, information technology, & communication skills. A competent & successful committee woman should be heavily involved in the community since they are organizing the grassroots of the Republican Party. Consequently, my volunteer positions will be an asset in performing the tasks required to properly represent OUR community.

Look up the definition of the responsibilities of a Republican committee person, and you will find their primary responsibility is to be the grassroots community organizer for the Republican party within their township. Now, ask yourself this question: "Has anyone approached you about organizing the Republican Voters in Lemay Township? I haven't, and of the 1500+ people I have talked to going door to door, neither have they. It's time Lemay Township become an organized influential voting bloc to protect our community and make sure our political representatives are hearing our voices! I am also very active in OUR community working to create a more vibrant community. And last but not least, I have lived in Lemay Township for 27+ years so I have an equitable interest in working to improve OUR community.

"WE BELIEVE that all political power is vested in, and derived from, the people; that all government originates from the people, is founded upon their will only, and is instituted solely for the good of the whole"

It's time to fire the current committeewoman and hire a newcomer that will work strictly for the people in Lemay Township and their community.
