What to Know If You're Going to the County Council Meeting

Councilman Steve Stenger said he would try to halt the construction of the HUD housing at the council meeting.

At the Friday town-hall meeting called by St. Louis County Councilman Steve Stenger, Stenger invited to crowd of close to a thousand to the Tuesday County Council meeting.

At the council meeting, Stenger said he will try to pass a resolution that will reverse the zoning ruling that allowed a three-story HUD senior housing to be built on Telegraph Road next to the Goddard School preschool.

As of Monday night, Stenger's resolution wasn't on the meeting agenda. Patch will update this article when the agenda is updated.

Stenger wasn't at a meeting the week before, where State Rep. Marsha Haefer, her son Mark, and an assistant to County Executive Charlie Dooley answered questions.

The council meeting is at 6 p.m in the County Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 41 South Central Avenue in Clayton.

There is a parking lot to the east of the Government Building, and also parking garages and street parking nearby.
