Who's Donating to the Felton, Palamund, Trakas Campaigns for Mehlville School Board?
Lori Trakas is leading the three in fundraising efforts as the candidates face the final days before the April 2 election.
As three candidates fight for two seats on the Mehlville Board of Education, two of them appear to have the upper hand in fundraising.
That's according to campaign finance reports filed with St. Louis County last week and in February. Lori Trakas's campaign committee leads the three with $2,275 in contributions, with $500 coming from Trakas.
She's followed closely by Venki Palamand's committee, which raised $1,915. Larry Felton's committee raised $924, which included a $100 donation from Felton.

Despite the fundraising gap, Palamand spent more to campaign for the position. His committee spent $3,033 in yard signs, business cards and newspaper ads against Trakas' $1,789, which went to door hangers and yard signs. Felton spent about $800 on yard signs.
The election is slated for April 2.
