Woman Drove Car at Boyfriend, Damaged Oakville Apartment Building, Police Say
St. Louis County Police said the boyfriend jumped out of the way and the car jumped a curb, striking a fence and a balcony support.

An Oakville woman drove into a fence and a balcony at Innsbruck Apartments while attempting to hit her boyfriend with a car, police said.
Katrina Baumgardner, 41, of the 2800 block of Innsbruck Drive in Oakville, was charged July 1 with third-degree domestic assault and first-degree property damage.
St. Louis County Police said Baumgardner was in a longstanding relationship with her boyfriend. Police said she took his car June 30 and drove the car at him, causing him to jump out of the way to avoid being struck.

Police said the car went over a curb and struck a fence and a balcony support, causing an estimated $2,000 in damages to the apartment complex.
Baumgardner is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $12,500.
