12 Things to Do in St. Charles County This Weekend

Patch rounds up a list of events going on in St. Charles County.

  • Local MOPS Group to Host Spring Fling Craft Fair: Friday and Saturday at Morning Star Church, 1600 Feise Rd., Dardenne Prairie. Along with the fair, they will have gently-used children’s items for sale. Admission is free and includes a dessert bar, refreshments and a chance to win door prizes. 
  • Live Music at the University Diner with Just for S & G: Friday at 6 p.m. at 504 Droste Rd., St. Charles. 
  • Spring Ice Show: Friday-Sunday at St. Peters Rec-Plex, 5200 Mexico Rd. The St. Peters Rec-Plex Skating School presents their Spring 2013 Ice Show, "The Adventures of Seuss." Performances will include solos, duets and group numbers, plus synchronized skating teams, with skaters ranging from age 3 to adult, beginning through advanced levels. Ticket prices for Rec-Plex passholders are $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under and seniors 55 and over. For all others, the ticket prices are $8 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under and seniors 55 and over.
  • Spring into Summer Vendor & Craft Fair: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 207 Ofallon Plz, O Fallon. Shop vendors and crafts in O'Fallon Plaza. For more information, contact Lisa Hollingsworth 636-262-4926.
  • Lewis and Clark Heritage Days: Saturday-Sunday at Frontier Park, 500 S Riverside Dr, St. Charles. Commemorate the 209th Anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition's encampment in Saint Charles. Parade on Saturday starting at 11:00 a.m. at Booneslick Rd. with Military and Fife and Drum Groups from the Mid-West. Also includes, period food, music, military demonstrations, colonial ball and Lewis and Clark candlelight tour.
  • Mount Pleasant Spring Live Music On The Patio: Saturday at 2 p.m. at 5634 High St, Augusta. Listen to the Well Hungarians while eating, shopping and enjoying your wine. 
  • St. Peter Catholic Church and School Picnic & Parade: Saturday-Sunday at Saint Peter Catholic Church of St. Charles, 324 S 3rd St, St. Charles. Includes: beer garden, live music, food, live and silent auction and carnival rides. 
  • St. Cletus Parish Picnic:Sunday at 11 a.m. at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 2705 Zumbehl Rd, St. Charles. There will be carnival rides, game booths, raffle booths, a huge silent auction, food and drink booths, a fried chicken dinner from noon to 6 p.m. and live music.
