FZN Senior Mackenzie Boyle recently signed with Williams Woods University, located in Fulton, Missouri, to play soccer for the Owls. Boyle has been a member of the varsity program in each of her three seasons at North. A versatile player, Boyle has spent most of the 2021 season playing wing-back for the Panthers, but can play at any position on the field. A player with vast experience, including international experience in Italy and Germany, Boyle is a member of the St. Louis Scott Gallahger (ECNLRL) soccer club. As a testament to her versatility, last fall Boyle notched five head-ball goals during the club season. Prior to her time with Gallahger, Boyle was a member of the ODP (Olympic Development Program). An excellent student, who sports an impressive 4.5 GPA, Boyle is a member of the conference’s “All-Academic” team.

William Woods is a NAIA institution that competes in athletics as a member of the American Midwest Conference. Playing an abbreviated season this spring, the Owls finished with a 9 – 3 overall record. Owls coach, Lauren Robb, was selected as the AMC “Coach of the Year.” At William Woods, Boyle will join Chloe Overkamp (FZN Class of 2019) on the Owl roster. Boyle plans on majoring in Biology (Pre-Med) with the hopes of becoming a trauma surgeon. Boyle is the daughter of William and Angela Boyle.
