Senate Candidate Patrice Billings invigorated by primary ballot results, sees highest Democratic turnout Missouri State Senate District 2 in 20 years

Senate Candidate Patrice Billings (SD-2) says she is invigorated by the primary voter turnout as
she heads into the general election for the District 2 seat in the Missouri State Senate as the Democratic Party nominee. “This voter turnout is going to propel us forward going into the general election. We achieved the highest democratic turnout that this district’s seen in 20 years! I am invigorated by the results of Tuesday’s ballot and by the responses I’ve heard from voters of both parties who are ready for change and say, ‘enough is enough!’” Billings stated.

The complete failure of Prop A demonstrates that the voters are siding with a new generation of leadership,” Billings said. With the voters’ rejection of Proposition A, she expects a victory for her campaign in November.
Billings is one of nine female candidates running for office in St. Charles County. Of those nine, eight are first-time candidates. Billings commented, “The people of St. Charles County are ready for a change in their representation. We are running to be the voice of the people. We will listen to them and be their voice.”

The Comedy Night will be held in the Zeppelin Room, upstairs from Sugar Cubed candy shop on historic Main Street, St. Charles, MO, on the same street where Billings co-owns a women's boutique with her partner Brenda Fraser.
