Fort Zumwalt North to host annual "Homecoming"!
Fort Zumwalt North to welcome home alumni!

Fort Zumwalt North will host it's annual "Homecoming" football game this Friday (10/6) as the Panthers play host to rival Fort Zumwalt South. Prior to the game, the school with recognize members of the 1977 football team. The 1977 version of the Panther football team coached by FZN stadium namesake, Bob Fisher, went 10 - 2 on the season and became the first team from St. Charles County to advance to the state's "final four". The team's only losses that season were to the eventual state champion - Jefferson City. This season the Panthers currently sport a 7 - 0 record and with a win Friday night can wrap up their 4th straight conference title.
During the game on Friday, all FZ Senior High/FZN alumni will be recognized. Alumni are encouraged to sign in at the ticket boot as they arrive to the game. Chris Bridges from the Class of 2004 will serve as this year's honorary team captain. Bridges quarterbacked the 2003 Panthers to a 7 - 3 record.
Fort Zumwalt North High opened as Fort Zumwalt Senior High in the early 1960's. The school moved to it's current location in the fall of 1976. Prior to the start of the 1987 - 1988 school year, the Fort Zumwalt Board of Education officially changed the name of the school to Fort Zumwalt North, which coincided with the opening of the district's second high school Fort Zumwalt South. All graduates of Fort Zumwalt Senior High are recognized as North High alumni.
