FZN Panther Players to perform "The Merry Wives of Windsor"!
Fort Zumwalt North's annual fall play is open to the public.
The Fort Zumwalt North "Panther Players" will perform their annual fall play slated to show next week, November 16 - 18, in the school's auditorium. "The Merry Wives of Windsor" will be performed by the Fort Zumwalt North "Panther Players" and directed by FZN drama teacher Theresa Nigus. Nigus is a board member for the Missouri State Thespians.
The scene is set as Master Page (Javier Clayborne) and his wife (Mia Millican) want marry off their daughter, Anne (Tessa Knopf). The only problem is, no one can agree on the groom-to-be. Master Page prefers the rich but clueless Slinder (Joshua Nigus), while Mistress Page would choose the well-off, hotheaded French doctor, Claius (Brett Jones). However, Anne is secretly in love with the young Master Fenton (Noah Mueller).
Meanwhile, Falstaff (Danny Behlmann) the boasting knight, has come to town with his cronies and decided to seduce Mistress Page and her friend, Mistress Ford (Olivia Thompson). The ladies band together to teach the greasy knight a lesson, but when Master Ford (Charlie Roberts) learns of the attempted seduction, his jealously spirals out of control.
