FZN Panther Players to present "The Addams Family!"

The FZN Panther Players, under the direction of FZN drama instructor Teresa Nigus, are set to being their production of the musical comedy "The Addams Family." The show will run three nights beginning April 15th and ending April 17th. Each performance will is slated to begin at 7:00 pm in the FZN auditorium.

The Addams Family, Quarantined Concert Version is a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams (Eliza Schnelle), the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with Lucas (Ethan Simon) a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams (Michael Schmitt) must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia (Morgan Bartold). As if that is not enough chaos, this all happens on the one night a year that the Addams Family ancestors come out of their tomb for an annual family meeting. Fester (Carter Wiginton) decides to keep them locked out of their crypt until they help the young lovers get together. Grandma (Peyton Dydell), Lurch (Phoenix Ferris), and Pugsley (Reilly Smith) do little to help the situation. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents (Carson Tubb and Makenna Tilley).

Portraying the Addams Family ancestors are Kevin Wells, Sarah Bacon, McKenzie Nelson, Nataleigh Daleen, Lauren Meeks, Madeline Ferrario, Hailey Deptula, and Elisha Butryn. The stage management team includes Olivia Jacquin, Taylor Cooper and Alayna Kruse. Other crew members include Amanda Brown, Grace Anderson, Sophia Mueller, Jake Steffen, Emily Emge, Bailee Hoffmann, Jay Routt, Sabrina Militello, Elena Henrikson, Sameeha Abdelkarim, Lara O'Brien, Kaylee Roberts, Nylah Strong, Maddi Dorey, Bree Waaler and Lucas Cain.

Stacy Harris (FZN Drama Assistant), Lori O'Leary (FZN Auditorium Manager) and Lauren Hoffman (FZN Musical Director) are assisting FZN drama instructor Teresa Nigus in the production of the musical.

This special concert version will run 85 minutes with no intermission. Tickets are $10 and still available for limited in-person seating (masks required) or the live stream at fznhs.booktix.com.
