O'Fallon Kiwanis donate playground to O'Fallon Salvation Army
A ribbon cutting was held December 11th to dedicate a new playground at the O'Fallon Salvation Army from the Kiwanis Club of O'Fallon.

Recently the Kiwanis Club of O’Fallon held a ribbon cutting to dedicate the new playground donated to the O’Fallon Salvation Army. Several years ago, Kiwanis members saw that the children’s playground at the O’Fallon Salvation Army was worn and might eventually become unsafe. As a result, the Club started fundraising to replace the playground by flipping pancakes, hosting Trivia Nights and Golf Tournaments. Those present at the ribbon cutting were Kiwanis members, one of the Salvation Army Board Members, Fort Zumwalt West Middle School Builder’s Club faculty advisor and a Builder’s Club student. The O’Fallon Kiwanis Club regularly meets at noon on Thursdays at JJ’s Restaurant in O’Fallon. Guests are always welcome.
