School Is Starting Already? Here Are 5 Things to Know

Remember the good ol' days when school started AFTER Labor Day? And you still had a good part of August to think about important things like slip-n-slides and popsicles and lightning bugs?

Now, the school supplies hit the shelves right after the Fourth of July. 

Here are five things you might want to think about—the first day of school isn't far away!

• The first day of school for the Fort Zumwalt School District is Wednesday, Aug. 14.
• Fort Zumwalt school supply lists are available on each school's website. Just go to the District website, click "schools," and pick your school from the drop-down menu.
• Christian High School also starts on Aug. 14.
• St. Dominic High School has half-day classes on Aug. 15 and 16, with full days starting the following week.
• The new Wentzville School District high school, Liberty High, on Sommers Road, will open its doors to its first freshman class this year!
