How Many Crimes Were Reported In Olivette Last Month?
The city compiles monthly statistics about the thefts, burglaries, drug offenses and other crimes reported.

January 2013 was a slower month for serious crime in Olivette when compared to a year earlier. Last month, city police responded to 43 reports of crimes such as assault, burglary, drug offenses, thefts and robbery.
A year earlier, that number was 73.
The largest single category of crime reports falls in a miscellaneous category that includes motor vehicle theft, arson, bad checks, fraud, stolen property, property damage, sex offenses and DWI.

Last month, the number of offenses in that miscellaneous category was 43, compared to 73 a year earlier.
Olivette police reponded to 1,001 calls for service in January of which, again, 43 were for crime reports and resulted in 25 arrests. There was one report of an assault, a category that includes domestic violence.

Other calls for service included traffic accidents, speeding tickets, parking violations and other calls.
