Officer Recognized For Work On Fatal Ladue Road Accident
Officer Thomas Exline was part of the team which investigated a fatal accident involving an Olivette man and two others who were killed.
The work of a Creve Coeur Police Officer is earning praise from inside his department and out.
Officer Thomas Exline was presented with a certificate of recognition for his work on a pair of fatal car accident investigations.
On February 1, he responded as part of the Regional Criminal Traffic Investigations Unit (CTIU) to the scene of a triple fatal two-car accident on Ladue Road in Ladue. An Olivette man crossed the center line and struck a vehicle with two people inside.

The investigation determined that Kyle Weeks, the driver who crossed the center line, was drunk and high on marijuana.
A few day later, Officer Exline responded to a fatal car vs. pedestrian accident at Mercy Hospital. No charges were filed in that case.
