Olivette One of the Few Areas to Lose Power Thursday

The storm sent many inches of ice and snow across the region, but by Thursday night, few locations had lost power. Olivette was an exception.

In the St. Louis area, despite getting pounded by snow, ice and sleet for most of Thursday, few area residents lost power. One of the exceptions was Olivette, where as many as 404 customers out of 8,500 lost their electricity.

The 63132 ZIP code had the highest number of customers in the St. Louis metro area without power at about 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

One reader on Facebook posted to the Olivette Facebook page that she was among the 400 customers without power.
