Prototype Three-Wheel Car of the Future on Display Right Now in Stacy Park

Elio Motors will produce a $6,800 automobile with 84 mpg by summer of 2014.

One by one, folks are queuing up to a trailer and display on the parking lot of Stacy Park in Olivette.

They are curious enough to see the Elio Motor three-wheel prototype that will get 84 highway and 49 city miles and cost a mere penny-pinching $6,800.

Those who want their children to drive to Ladue High next year safely might think about this addition to their driveway:

This model will be manufactured at an abandoned Hummer plant in Shreveport, LA. Marketing people think this car will storm America.

Its safer than a motor cycle or a all terrain vehicle and even costs the same or less.

There are no test rides yet. This is just a demonstration engine under the hood. But come see for yourself through today (May 14) until 7 p.m., then tomorrow (May 15) 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Then it takes off for Kansas City. But it will be hauled by a truck there.
