Volunteer Speakers From AARP Available to Make Free Presentations
Brain health, caregiving and fraud prevention are among topics offered by trained AARP volunteers in St. Louis region

Do you want to learn how to fight fraud? Are you a caregiver who needs care? Would you like to learn how to make home safe, accessible and more comfortable as you or as parents age? Do you want tips on staying sharp with your brain?
"Speak Out!", the AARP Missouri Speakers Bureau in St. Louis has trained and experienced volunteers who offer free educational presentations to members and a wide range of organizations in the community. Topics have a broad appeal to a variety of audiences and are relevant and engaging as well as designed to enhance the quality of life in a changing world.
Volunteers who make the free presentations have benefited from intense issue briefings and training that make them knowledgeable about the topics offered. Volunteer presenters also provide handouts and other materials that can be referred to in the future and/or shared with others in their family and community.

Organizations requesting a speaker should give a minimum four weeks’ notice so that a volunteer can be scheduled and materials ordered.
It's easy to request a free presentation. Just go online to www.aarp.cvent.com/speakersrequestform. It is important to complete all required information and to follow instructions on the landing page. There will also be a listing of all topics offered. A volunteer presentation coordinator will make further contact with the requesting group and assign a volunteer speaker. Speakers have the flexibility to confer with the requesting organization should additional information be required.

To ensure quality of the Speakers Bureau, requesting organizations are encouraged to complete the presentation evaluation online at http://aarp.cvent.com/evalform. At the conclusion of each presentation, volunteer speakers will provide the requesting organization with this information via a special business card.
