Autism Information Blast Returns to Battlefield Mall

Popular Springfield Mall Works to Create Network of Vital Resources Families with Children on the Autism Spectrum

For the fourth year, Battlefield Mall is partnering with STARS for Autism to host the annual Autism Information Blast on Saturday, April 28. Local families are invited out to the mall’s JC Penny East Court from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to meet with a variety of vital community organizations and resources, who specialize in the care and treatment of those diagnosed with autism and their families.

With more than 40 local organizations in attendance, Battlefield Mall is excited to help create a growing network of local special needs service providers and area resources for Springfield families. From educational programs and safety professionals, to acclaimed authors and physicians, the Autism Information Blast will offer attendees a variety of resources aimed at bettering the lives of those on the autism spectrum and their family members.

“We’re honored to partner with STARS for Autism again to host this year’s Autism Information Blast,” said Amanda Estes, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Battlefield Mall. “It is our goal to help make local families’ lives easier by gathering these practical resources together in one place, as well as continue to increase the understanding and acceptance of people with autism spectrum disorder.”
