Battlefield Mall Food Truck Mini Series

Food Trucks to Offer a Variety of Tasty Options for Springfield Families to Enjoy

Battlefield Mall today announced the return of the Food Truck Mini Series on Saturday, May 19. Running from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., local families are invited to partake in some of Springfield’s favorite four-wheel-based cuisine at the Glenstone Ave. and Battlefield Rd. corner of the mall’s parking lot. The Battlefield Mall Food Truck Mini Series is set to continue throughout the summer with the next two foodie events taking place on Saturday, July 21 and Saturday, August 18.

Parked next to the Greater Springfield Farmer’s Market, over six of the area’s most popular food trucks will offer a variety of menu items, from traditional English Pasties to award-winning BBQ. Each of the Food Truck Mini Series dates are scheduled to feature a unique array of local purveyors including London Calling, Sno Ballz, Holy Cow, Speedy Cowabunga, Davalon, DNA BBQ, Not’ Cho Ordinary Taco and Twisted Mikes. The Food Truck Mini Series will also offer a large tent to provide a welcoming place for families to take a load off, reenergize and enjoy their tasty selections, free from the elements.

“We are thrilled to welcome back some of the community’s favorite food trucks to Battlefield Mall,” said Battlefield Mall’s Director of Marketing and Business Development Amanda Estes. “Battlefield Mall is always on the hunt for new and exhilarating ways to engage with the local community and we’re excited to kick off the summer season with this family-friendly event.”
