Springfield Resident Surprised with Scholarship to WGU Missouri

Alexander Scott was awarded a $2,500 Resiliency Scholarship to the fully online, nonprofit university

Springfield resident Alexander Scott was recently surprised with a $2,500 Resiliency Scholarship to WGU Missouri. The scholarship is designed to assist students with the unforeseen financial struggles presented by the COVID-19 pandemic and allow them to continue their course of study.

Scott, an IT clerk at Aaron Sachs & Associates, P.C., is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from WGU Missouri. He was virtually presented with the scholarship on November 11 by WGU Strategic Partnerships Manager John Hardin.
