Elizabeth "Penny" Bennett Dies

Elizabeth "Penny" Bennett, a longtime member of the Republican Centeral Committee in St. Charles County, died Friday, Oct. 12. She was 75. 

Bennett is survived by her husband, James M. Bennett, four children, Michael Bennett, Eric Bennett and Kathryn Hicks, and their spouses, and Jon Bennett, as well as seven grandchildren. 

Bennett was also a member of the State Board of Geologist Registration and president of the St. Charles Pachyderm Club. 

The visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 16 at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center. A funeral service will be held at noon Oct. 17 at Baue.
