Exciting times in store for a local skilled nursing facility

April 28, 2021 (St. Charles, MO) Frontier Health and Rehabilitation has begun the initial phase of a major renovation and expansion project totaling approximately $6 million. The renovations feature extensive upgrades to existing common areas throughout the care center.

SRZ Management aka “Reach LTC”, the parent company of Frontier, is leading the development of the project in which phase one includes a fully renovated lobby, offices, post-acute care rooms and rehabilitation therapy gymnasium which will serve short-term rehab clients and long-term care residents at the care center located at 2840 West Clay Street.

Frontier’s campus includes over 100 beds in the skilled nursing center and a dedicated care wing for Alzheimer’s and dementia long term care. As the pandemic delayed many projects, Frontier embarked on a master planning process to prepare for the upcoming and growing demands of post-acute care. The current phase is anticipated for completion late 2021, then will advance to the next phase which includes on-site specialty services and additional renovations and improvements to existing areas. The planned third phase is slated to include an addition to the grounds.
