5 Things Happening This Week in St. Charles: Road Work, Art and Theater
Lane closures are planned on I-70 Wednesday and Thursday.

Here are five things to know about the week ahead:Â
- The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the two left lanes on westbound I-70 from 10 p.m. to midnight before 5th Street Wednesday, July 31.Â
- MoDOT will close one right lane westbound on I-70 and the ramp from westbound to southbound 5th Street from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug.Â
- The SLIFF Childen's Film Festival will show a number of films this week including one at Lindenwood University, The Painting (Le Tableau), at 1 p.m. Aug. 3.
- Vino Van Gogh will hold a painting class at Padavan's NY at 9 p.m. Monday, July 29. Learn to paint spring flowers.
- Act II Community Theater will present "Boeing Boeing," a play about an American pilot living in Paris who is engaged to three different flight attendants. Catch it Aug. 2, 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10. More info here.Â
