Lindenwood University Tuition, Room and Board to Increase in Fall 2013
Undergraduate students will pay $22,940 a year.

Traditional undergraduate students will see tuition, room and board and fees raise by $760 at Lindenwood University in the fall.Â
Students will pay $22,940 a year, a 3.4 percent increase over last year's rate for tuition, room and board and fees $22,180, according to a press release.Â
The increase was approved at Friday's Board of Directors meeting. The increase is due to rising operating costs,Â

In addition, students in other programs will see cost increases. Undergraduate students in the accelerated evening program will pay $3,186 a quarter and graduate students in the program will pay $3,852 a quarter.Â
The average increase for private nonprofit colleges and universities that publish their tuition rates was 3.9 percent for the 2012-13 academic year, according to the National Association for Independent Colleges and Universities.
