Midwest Cup Soccer Tournament Called Off
The threat of rain will cancel the youth soccer tournament in St. Charles.
The Midwest Cup tournament scheduled at the Saint Louis Youth Soccer Association complex in St. Charles this this weekend has been called off because of the threat of rain.
According to a report on CBS local,  the Army Corps of Engineers and the City of Saint Charles didn’t want organizers to take any chances with possible flooding. The National Weather Service has rain in the forecast for Friday night and Saturday.
A flood in 2008 caused major damage to the complex.
