May is national burger month and to celebrate, Patch has put together a list of local places to enjoy a burger in St. Charles.

To honor of National Burger Month in May, Patch has put together a list of local spots to celebrate in St. Charles.Â
- JJ's Restaurant: According to the menu, burgers are this restaurants "claim to fame." You have the choice of 15 burgers with toppings including, mashed potatoes, ranch, onion rings and _more.Â
- Prasino's: To celebrate National Burger Month this May, the newly opened Prasino will offer an $11 Turkey Burger (blue cheese, caramelized onions, sautéed apples, spinach, multigrain bun) as a healthier alternative to the typical burger. Located in St. Charles, recently opened prasino features a locally sourced contemporary American menu created by Executive Chef Jared Case. National Burger Month concludes on May 31. - Big A's on the Riverfront: Have a Big or Little A's burger or try the Lindenwood with bacon and cheese, the Main Street Favorite with mushrooms or the Bleu Cheese. See more here.
- Ginghams Restaurant: Check out this local homestyle burger joint with choices including The Godfather, with pepperoni and meat sauce, the Patty Melt or the the Chicken Cordon Bleu. See more here.
