Police Blotter: 15 Men Steal $800 Worth of Fireworks

Counterfeit
  • A counterfeit 100 dollar bill was attempted to be used on 5th Street. Subject in custody.
Drug Possession 
  • A subject was arrested for possession of marijuana, fugitive, and interfering with an officer.
Stealing
  • A Samsung notebook and bluetooth were stolen out of a vehicle in the first block of Ameristar Boulevard. 
  • A leave without pay occurred in the 1900 block of S 1st Capitol—$52 worth of gas was stolen. 
  • Stealing from Walmart. Property, valued at $212, was recovered.
  • Approximately 15 male subjects stole several large/expensive fireworks, valued at $800, before fleeing in four vehicles. 
  • Theft from an unlocked motor vehicle.
Tampering
  • Attempted stealing of a golf cart and resisting arrest at Jefferson and Second Street.
Peace Disturbance
  • Intoxicated subject attempted to start fights with numerous subjects on Main Street.
