Police Blotter: Golf Jewelry Taken from Unlocked Car

The following information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. 

Recovered Stolen Vehicle 

• Recovered stolen rental. The vehicle was rented out of Colorado and the original renter/suspect failed to return car to rental agency. Car was recovered from and area hotel in St. Charles.

• A vehicle wheel, valued at $400, was stolen from vehicle while parked at a repair shop.
• A vehicle was broken into in the block of Clear Vista Cove. Nothing taken from vehicle.
• Victim's unlocked vehicle had items including sunglasses, gold necklaces and gold earrings were taken from it by unknown person(s).
  
• Victim advised that she left her vehicle unlocked and unknown suspects removed $15 in change and took a silver iPod Nano.

• An unknown subject flooded a bathtub in a vacant apartment causing extensive damage
