Police Blotter: More Than $7,000 Worth of Jewelry Stolen
The following information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Stealing
- A suspect stole wallet and used debit card to make purchases of more than $1,000.
- Five fraudulent checks were written on victim's account totalling $150. The victim resides in the 300 block of Anneric.
- A vehicle left without paying for $28.54 of gasoline from Petromart in the 3700 block of Elm Street.
- A license plate was stolen from avehicle in the 1800 block of Boones Lick Road.
- Stealing was reported at Wapelhorst Park in the swimming pool area. Contact was made withthe reporting party and victim.
- Stealing report in the 900 block of Hartford Place. More than $7,000 worth of jewelry was stolen.Â
Property Damage
- Driver's window broken on a vehicle at N. Benton Avenue on June 5.Â
Possession Of Controlled Substance Marijuana
- A suspicious vehicle in the area of Lindenwood and Gallaher revealed narcotics. Subjects arrested.
Driving While IntoxicatedÂ
- Traffic stop. Driver arrested for DWI and Possession of Marijuana, among other charges.
