Burglary

  • A kiosk on Rue Royale was broken into overnight through a window. Jewelry was stolen on Sept. 21.
Financial Exploitation
  • A 72-year-old woman was financially exploited by deceit. The incident was reported Sept. 21.
Suicide
  • A woman who called the suicide hotline was transported to St. Joseph's Health Center on Sept. 21. 
  • A man made statements about thinking about how to kill himself and was transported to St. Joseph's Health Center for a psychiatric evaluation on Sept. 21. 
  • A woman attempted to commit suicide at a home on Clarendon Street on Sept. 21.
Drug Offense
  • Police arrested three people in the Ameristar Casino parking garage for possessing marijuana on Sept. 21.
Domestic Assault
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 2800 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway on Sept. 22.
Protective Custody
  • An intoxicated person was taken into protective custody in the 100 block of North Main Street on Sept. 22.
DWI
  • A driver left the scene of an accident and was arrested for a DWI after resisting arrest. The incident happened in the 200 block of North Main Street on Sept. 22.
Property Damage
  • Police arrested someone for property damage and peace disturbance at Crestview Apartments around 5 a.m. Sept. 22.
