The Greenway Network hosts an annual Missouri River race on Aug. 24. Paddlers can participate in a 40 or 20 mile race along the river, or ride down the Katy Trail on your bike in a 5, 25, or 35 mile trek. Once you arrive in St. Charles, check out the festival with food, music and information booths, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Â
