Saint Charles Man Charged In July 5 Shooting
Police say four other individuals, including the shooter who is a juvenile, were with McKee when the shooting took place.

ST. CHARLES, MO — Prosecutors in St. Charles have charged Kiyren McKee with first-degree assault and armed criminal action after a July 5 shooting at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Lake Court in St. Charles. No one was injured in the shooting, but Fox 2 St. Louis reports McKee and his accomplices had intended to kill a woman.
Police say a juvenile pulled the trigger, firing several shots into the woman's car, while McKee acted as getaway driver. It's not clear whether the juvenile or three others involved in the shooting have been yet charged.
Police recovered shell casings and ammunition linking the juvenile to the shooting. Fox 2 reports McKee and the other accused individuals believed the intended victim had stolen something from the shooter.
